I had a wonderful night’s stay at Kawashiya Ryokan in March 2017. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating, the food was very filling, fresh and delicious and the town itself was an amazingly quiet and picturesque place to explore, I regret not staying for another night!
I stayed with a friend in a room without its own bathroom, however it had a sink for brushing teeth and dressing, the hallway toilet was always clean and available when I needed it, and we were able to try out each of the private onsens throughout our stay, which offer a supreme bathing and relaxation experience. We were even lucky enough to experience the onsen during some nighttime snowfall! The view out the window in the morning was beautiful after the snow~
I have already recommended Kawashiya Ryokan to several friends and will continue to do so! Thank you for everything 🙂
