My husband and I stayed at Kashiwaya Onsen for 2 nights, in a room with a private outdoor bath. It was a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime experience. The baths were great, with several different bathing options, including a private outdoor bath (where we had snow while bathing – wonderful!). The food was absolutely stunning, and the staff were accommodating and friendly. The location is easily accessible by bus. I highly recommend Kashiwaya Onsen,
