The bus to the onsen was very easy to take. I did end up passing the Onsen and went through town but that wasn’t a bad thing as I was able to venture around town to see what things there would be to do.
The employees were helpful and attentive. The food was spectacular. I recommend getting one of the meal plans for the evening sent to your room. The experience was amazing and the food was delicious!
I had a private Onsen in the room which was very relaxing with a beautiful scenery. I also went into each onsen to experience the different styles. I saw some of the monkies in the trees while relaxing in the onsen and drank some sake.
I was also able to meet the owner who was very kind and helpful when asked any questions.
Overall the experience was wonderful and I look forward to traveling there again!
This Shima Onsen is worth the experience!
