We visited Kashiwaya Ryokan in November of 2015 and it was a great experience. The private onsens were incredibly relaxing and the fall foliage was beautiful. The staff at the ryokan were kind and courteous throughout our stay. The food was delicious as well. If you’re coming to Japan I highly recommend staying here to experience traditional Japanese culture. I also recommend walking to the Kashiwaya Cafe too, the food is delicious and they have coffee and desserts.
