Staying at Kashiwaya is an experience that I will never forget. The ryokan was absolutely beautiful as was the surrounding town. They let me borrow a bike which I rode up the road a few miles and found a lovely cafe. The ryokan was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The food was some of the best meals that I have ever had. Not to mention, the hospitality was fantastic. I spent 2 months in Japan and this was my favorite part of my trip. I can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend the experience to anyone. They were very English speaking friendly and I had no trouble communicating with any of the staff.
