I had the pleasure of guiding a guest from Kentucky, USA, who was staying for two nights in Shima Onsen.
We explored the town together on a quiet winter weekday.
Since it was the off-season, the streets were calm and peaceful, and we enjoyed a leisurely stroll at the guest’s own pace.
It was their fifth visit to Japan, as some of their family lives Japan.
We had a great time chatting about their family, favorite Japanese foods, and more.
I truly enjoyed walking and talking with her.
I hope she’ll visit again next time with their family.
