My husband and I visited Shima Onsen in autumn of 2017. Location of Kashiwaya ryokan was excellent as we depend on
public transport. Surrounding area of ryokan was beautiful just across the road is the park where we did our morning walk before breakfast. Dinner was served in our room was very private and we love it this way Food was very good too and even though we stayed one night it was wonderful as we walked around Shima centre which was easy to explore.
One day I may return with my daughter to remember that was the last trip I had with my dear husband. We both loved Japan for the food and onsen. -
