relaxing few days in traditional Japanese ryokan and town

We loved our days at Shima Onsen! I strongly recommend this stay to those who want to experience the more quiet and traditional side of Japan. At the ryokan one can enjoy the confortable room, well-prepared meals and friendly service all offered in the most traditional Japanese style. Some days we felt being lazy and spending most of the time at the ryokan taking advantage of their facilities and “breathing-in its homey feeling”; Other days, we wondered around visiting several natural spots and experiencing the local town of Nakanojō. All in all, very relaxing and enjoyable!
