My wife and I stayed at Kashiwaya Ryokan for a December holiday. Having a private outdoor onsen was a real treat, especially when the snow was falling and the temperature crisp. The meals were specially made for us, vegetarian, and they were delicious. We live halfway around the world now, so alas can’t visit more frequently, but we look forward to planning another trip!
